We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas to join our team of cleaners at the University Park West.
Main duties will include:
- Cleaning a wide range of areas/spaces and providing general and specialised cleaning within the building to include but not limited to classrooms/meeting rooms, range of flooring/carpeted areas, refuse disposal, toilets/bathrooms, changing areas, corridors, stairwells etc.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times, working either independently or as part of a team.
- Providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning, any urgent requests/inquiries assigned by the Line Manager.
Previous cleaning experience within a similar environment and ability to work independently and as part of a team are desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The role can be physically demanding but lifting aids and full training will be provided.
Hours of Work: 15 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Monday to Friday working between the hours 6.00 - 9.00am). Flexibility will be required. These positions are offered on a permanent basis working on a rolling contract 52-weeks of the year basis to include student vacation periods.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend induction training courses which will run each month, Monday to Friday on University Park Campus. Further details will be given at interview. The interviews for these posts are informal and will take no longer than 20 minutes.
