We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas to join our team of cleaners at the University Park West.

Main duties will include:

  • Cleaning a wide range of areas/spaces and providing general and specialised cleaning within the building to include but not limited to classrooms/meeting rooms, range of flooring/carpeted areas, refuse disposal, toilets/bathrooms, changing areas, corridors, stairwells etc.
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times, working either independently or as part of a team.
  • Providing both planned and reactive cleaning service across the building and supporting the local cleaning team covering holidays, sickness, deep cleaning, any urgent requests/inquiries assigned by the Line Manager.

Previous cleaning experience within a similar environment and ability to work independently and as part of a team are desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The role can be physically demanding but lifting aids and full training will be provided.

Hours of Work: 15 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged (mainly Monday to Friday working between the hours 6.00 - 9.00am). Flexibility will be required. These positions are offered on a permanent basis working on a rolling contract 52-weeks of the year basis to include student vacation periods.
