The Open University in Milton Keynes is seeking a Research Technician to support microbiology and molecular biology across EGL and Gass Laboratories.

You will work with staff and students to enable research objectives while upholding good laboratory practice.

You will handle culture curation, DNA extraction, PCR, sequencing, waste management and budget support, and assist visitors and fieldwork when required.

A STEM undergraduate degree and proven lab experience are essential.
