University of Nottingham invites applications for a fully funded PhD studentship titled “Hidden Pest-Pathogen Alliances: Unravelling the Mechanisms of Aphid-Fungal Cooperation on Wheat.” The project explores interactions between the Fusarium graminearum pathogen and the English grain aphid Sitobion avenae in wheat, aiming to uncover mechanisms governing pest–pathogen interactions.
The successful candidate will work with a supervisory team across Nottingham and Keele universities.
