On the 1 August 2026, the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent will form a pioneering new multi-university group called London and South-East (LASE) University Group. Should you join us, you will be employed by LASE but will work as part of the University of Greenwich academic division, contributing to its distinct strengths, community and identity while also being part of a wider group that brings together the scale, resilience and shared ambition of both universities. Through LASE we aim to deliver outstanding education, impactful research, and meaningful regional and global impact.

Our Biomed Online learning provision is a collaboration with NHS trusts/hospitals and UKHSA which has successfully supported the needs of our local, regional, national, and global healthcare communities for over 20 years through delivery of online CPD courses and postgraduate programmes - from PGCert to MSc.

To maintain this impetus for growth and success, BioMed Online is seeking to appoint an administrator to support the delivery of BioMed Online. The successful candidate will work with the BioMed Online team alongside university services to deliver high-quality administrative support to our students and stakeholders.

We are looking for an individual who has previously worked within an administrative role and is able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and have a proactive and flexible approach. The role is varied, as you will be the first line of contact for enquiries so having the ability to work with changing priorities and workloads is essential.

The role holder will be able to apply their IT and problem-solving skills to support the day-to-day delivery of a growing programme, with key responsibility for administration, bookings, liaising with students and providing support for the programme logistics. This role would suit someone with experience of providing high-quality administrative or executive assistant support in a fast-paced office environment.

If you would like to help us deliver our mission of transforming lives through inspired teaching, we would welcome your application to join us.

For an informal discussion about the post please contact the BioMed Online Business Development Director, Karim Mahmoud, at k.mahmoud@gre.ac.uk. Should you have any queries please contact the People Directorate Team on peopleoperationsdmin@greeenwich.ac.uk.

We are looking for people who can help us deliver our mission of transforming lives through inspired teaching and research, through our values.

We are committed to building a strong, diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We particularly encourage applications from individuals who are currently under-represented within the University of Greenwich.

We do this through taking positive action such as encouraging applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, care leavers, disabled and LGBT+ people. As part of our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, we are committed to promoting and supporting the physical and mental health of all our staff, and removing barriers to improve inclusion.

We encourage applicants to disclose experience of mental health problems so we can support them fully during our recruitment process and make any necessary reasonable adjustments. Any information disclosed will be kept confidential and separate from the job application form.

We are making significant strides to understand and continuously improve our employees’ experience and we are committed to implementing progressive diversity talent management.
