Technical Surfaces is a leading installer and maintenance provider of various sports surfaces in the UK. With over 25 years of industry experience, their unique skill set has led to many of the country's top pitch installers. These 'Partners in Excellence' understand the importance of having their pitches looked after from day one, to ensure maximum life expectancy and uphold their pitch-building reputation.

The role: Technical Surfaces currently have an opportunity for a Trainee Artificial Sports Pitch, Performance Tester to undertake indicative performance pitch testing of facilities throughout the UK to service predominantly existing customers with an element of new business. The purpose of the role is to support the performance side of the business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out indicative pitch performance testing of synthetic facilities across the UK.
  • Attending approx. 2 sites per day, assumed Monday to Thursday but subject to variation.
  • Includes regular nights away from home. Hotels and expenses covered by the company (details tbc).
  • Handling of client questions by making yourself aware of all services.
