KBR support the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offer challenging assignments on some of the world\’s largest and most complex projects.

Power System Studies Engineer for a 12 month assignment, based in Leatherhead, Surrey

On Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay rate
  • Working 4 days in the office, 1 day from home

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a Power systems studies engineer to support an onshore project

Skills / Experience

  • To include captive power generation, with or without grid connection
  • Studies will include equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash & transient stability
  • Tasks will include running power system studies and overseeing third party vendors
  • Provide power system studies for projects including EMT software.
  • Intermediate know-how using ETAP software
