Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offers challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
As a Senior Designer, you will be supporting the Marine Team, liaising with other disciplines, clients, and vendors, and coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
Requirements:
- Marine and Structural Designer with a formal qualification or on-the-job training
- Minimum experience of 10 years
- Proficient in the use of Aveva Marine and able to provide advice/guidance to junior designers
- Ability to manage a team of designers working remotely
- Creation of project-specific job notes, guides, and training material to support consistent deliverables
- Organising schedules and resources within the team to achieve required deliverables to project deadlines
- Breaking project tasks down to drawing level and estimating resources required to complete milestones
- Competence in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in identifying priorities and be agile in addressing emerging urgent issues as they arise
- Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to work in an office-based role
