Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are looking to recruit a Lead Estimator for an 8-month contract, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Purpose of the Role:
To use specialized knowledge and skills to lead a team of assigned estimators, usually within a single functional discipline, to develop preliminary or definitive estimates for projects by using processes, labor availability and productivity, and material prices based on historical data.
Core Responsibilities / Experience:
- Tabulates cost studies, cash flows, and prospect analysis.
- Establishes priorities and delegates assignments for the completion of task(s).
- Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices.
- Direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of estimating procedures to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 10+ years of experience. Provide cost estimates which are complete, fully auditable, assessed for accuracy, uncertainties, risk and contingencies in accordance with the authorised estimate plans. Detailed understanding and use of Microsoft Excel. Intermediate know-how using ACCE (Aspen Capital Cost Estimator).
