Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
General
- Pre-Contract: Support the client in an advisory role; manage and/or support the EPC tender process from tender release through to bid evaluation and final award recommendation; manage timelines, bid submissions, stakeholder reviews and commercial clarifications.
- Post Contract: On behalf of the client, provide commercial expertise/hands-on contract administration and oversight of the successful EPC bidder including but not limited to: the development of master documents to support process and procedures; regulatory compliance, risk analysis, change administration, claims administration, early warnings, notices, records, correspondence and commercial close out.
Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Law, Finance, Management, or Quantity Surveying along with appropriate professional qualification (RICS, CICES, CIPS, CIOB preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar role.
- A sound knowledge of different contracting strategies.
- Experience managing project commercial issues in the oil and gas, petrochemical and renewable energy and energy transition contracting environments.
- Expertise in negotiating contract terms for services, construction, engineering, and equipment installation.
- Strong understanding of contracting principles, legal terms and conditions.
- Broad knowledge of construction industry and EPC contract language.
- Experience with RFP/RFQ processes for heavy industrial projects.
- Ability to formulate multiple compensation structures (cost reimbursable, lump sum, unit price).
- Skilled in work change and claims evaluation and negotiation.
- Experience in creating and/or managing tender packages including project-specific terms and conditions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
