Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- As part of a project team, perform all conventional aspects of the Environmental scope area. This may include:
- Developing environmental deliverables such as Environmental Philosophies, Environmental Impact Identification (ENVID) Reports, Environmental Management Plans, Emissions Inventories, Terms of Reference (ToRs) for workshops, and Scopes of Work (SoW) for studies.
- Supporting studies focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring alignment with net-zero commitments.
- Providing expert guidance on environmental compliance, including Best Available Techniques (BAT), and ensuring regulatory adherence throughout project lifecycles.
- Coordination and liaison with third-party contractors undertaking environmental studies, such as Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and site baseline surveys.
- Environmental representation in ENVID and BAT reviews.
Skills and Experience
- Skills gained through undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including final year design projects and any work placements.
- Experience working on oil and gas design projects. Experience in Wastewater Treatment and Energy transition projects (such as CCSU) is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create reports, analyse data, and present information effectively. Experience with GIS and air dispersion modeling software is desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience, with average experience ranging from 6-10 years.
Educational Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BEng or BSc) in Environmental Engineering or a related field such as Chemical Engineering.
- Membership in a relevant engineering, science, or environmental institute.
