As a Fire Design Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate quotations, conducting site surveys, and supporting the delivery of fire alarm projects up to £2m in value. You will be working for a well-established Fire and Security business with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in high-quality fire system solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed and accurate quotations for fire alarm projects up to £2m
- Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and scope
- Create and amend technical proposals and documentation
- Work closely with the sales team to support project wins
- Mentor and support junior Design Engineers
- Ensure all designs and estimates meet industry standards and client requirements
Experience and Certifications required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire alarm design and estimating
- Strong experience working on fire alarm systems
- Ability to produce accurate and commercially viable quotations
- Experience conducting site surveys and producing technical proposals
Preferred: hands-on background in installing and servicing fire alarm systems
