Are you an experienced Security Design Engineer? We are looking for a Security Design Engineer to design security systems for two buildings in Liverpool. The project will involve designing CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems. The role requires transferring existing designs onto new drawings, ensuring icons are correctly reproduced, making adjustments for floor layout changes, and producing cable schedules. You will need to produce around 15 drawings for each building, using systems such as Gallagher ACS, Hanwha CCTV, Galaxy Intruder, Traka key safes, and Abloy locks.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Design security systems for CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems for two buildings
  • Move existing designs onto new drawings, ensuring accurate reproduction of icons
  • Adjust designs based on floor layout changes
  • Produce cable schedules and around 15 drawings for each building

Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in security system design
  • Experience with systems such as Gallagher ACS, Hanwha CCTV, Galaxy Intruder, Traka key safes, and Abloy locks
  • Experience using System Surveyor is beneficial but not essential

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • No specific certifications required
  • Must have a full home working set up, including a laptop and multiple screens
