Technical Resources are partnering with a well-established specialist service provider to recruit a Field Service Engineer for an exciting mobile role covering the North and Scotland. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy and being trusted to manage their own work across a broad region.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on customer sites.
- Diagnosing faults and resolving issues efficiently.
- Supporting planned maintenance and reactive callouts.
- Building good relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Keeping accurate records and handling the admin side of the role.
- Working as part of a local team to deliver a reliable service across your region.
- Working across the North and Scotland in a structured, planned way.
- Staying away from home for up to 2 to 3 weeks when required.
- Floating between your base and Scotland to help cover holidays and absence.
Experience
- A reliable, structured engineer who is confident working independently.
- A valid driving licence and a practical mindset.
- Someone who can manage their time well while working across a wide area.
- Previous field service or mobile engineering experience, ideally.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
