Overview
Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Southampton
Rate: £220 p/day
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPMs and maintenance on addressable and conventional fire alarm systems (Advanced, Haes, Notifier, Gent)
- Service and maintain CCTV systems (IP and analogue – Hikvision)
- Service and fault-find intruder systems (Galaxy, Premier, Menvier, Texecom)
- Service and maintain access control systems (Paxton)
- Complete a minimum of 5 PPMs per day across multiple sites
Experience required
- Minimum of 5 years\\\’ experience within the fire and security industry
- Proven background servicing fire alarms, CCTV, intruder, and access control systems
- Competence working across both addressable and conventional fire alarm panels
Required documentation / tooling
- DBS (essential)
- BS7858 vetting (must have begun)
- ECS Card (preferred)
- Hand tools, drills, steps, ladders, and full PPE
- Fire test equipment
- Android phone or tablet for electronic dockets
