Overview

Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer

Location: Southampton

Rate: £220 p/day

Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPMs and maintenance on addressable and conventional fire alarm systems (Advanced, Haes, Notifier, Gent)
  • Service and maintain CCTV systems (IP and analogue – Hikvision)
  • Service and fault-find intruder systems (Galaxy, Premier, Menvier, Texecom)
  • Service and maintain access control systems (Paxton)
  • Complete a minimum of 5 PPMs per day across multiple sites

Experience required

  • Minimum of 5 years\\\’ experience within the fire and security industry
  • Proven background servicing fire alarms, CCTV, intruder, and access control systems
  • Competence working across both addressable and conventional fire alarm panels

Required documentation / tooling

  • DBS (essential)
  • BS7858 vetting (must have begun)
  • ECS Card (preferred)
  • Hand tools, drills, steps, ladders, and full PPE
  • Fire test equipment
  • Android phone or tablet for electronic dockets
