Offering Circa £25,500 – £33,000 Basic Salary Plus Great Benefits

Our client is a well-established Engineering services company based in the Ripon area, currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of machinery and equipment conducting maintenance and repairs when needed.

Maintenance Technician – Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections of machinery and equipment and resolve issues before they escalate.

Carry out daily safety checks on machines and document any defects or repairs undergo. Training will be provided on this.

Assist with Health and Safety checks.

Assist with general workshop maintenance and ensuring a tidy workshop.

Occasionally assist with the needs of the business including driving company vehicles, helping with production, delivery and despatch.

Conduct risk assessments before works are undertaken.

Maintenance Technician – Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.

Experience working with electrics would be an advantage but not essential.

A good attention to detail required for inspecting equipment.

Some heavy lifting and manual handling required.

Able to prioritise workloads and be comfortable working to deadlines.

The Maintenance Technician position is offering circa £25,500 – £33,000 basic salary plus benefits for the successful candidate. This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 07.30 to 16:00.
