Construction Sales Manager

Offering Circa. £50,000 - £60,000 Basic Salary plus Bonus, Car Allowance and Great Benefits!

Our client is an established and highly respected manufacturing business based in North Yorkshire.

Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Sales Manager to join their sales division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the vision, goals, and plans for their industry segment.

In additional, to building strong client relationships, prospecting new clients, and maximising existing customer relationships, the Sales Manager will analyse construction market trends, customer needs, competitive threats, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities and risks.

  • Construction Sales Manager - Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on maintaining and strengthening existing key customer relationships whilst working to acquire new business, to meet company growth expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to sell, upsell, and cross sell into your construction industry sector. Attending onsite and online meetings with prospects and customers when required.
  • Manage opportunities through the sales process, maximising opportunities to increase order value and profitability.
  • Maintain touchpoints with key customers, and the full buying unit, including external stakeholders from equipment dealerships.
  • To understand the changing needs of customers within the Construction industry, identifying key prospects and decision makers and building relationships with these stakeholders.
  • Accurately manage sales forecasts using CRM, ensuring key dates and commercials are maintained as live information.
  • To meet revenue expectations through consistent and high-quality sales activities.
  • Construction Sales Manager – Skills & Experience
  • STEM related Degree is preferred.
  • Experienced selling into the construction industry, whether that be a supplier or end client.
  • Consultative technical sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience presenting business ideas to internal or external teams is required.
  • Marketing experience is advantageous.
  • Experienced providing adequate information to the business regarding sales pipelines and forecasts (in CRM).

The position of Construction Sales Manager is offering £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary basic plus bonus, car allowance and great benefits.

This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our client office in North Yorkshire with hybrid flexibility.
