Our client is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join their business to support around 50 users on a Windows-based network. This hands-on position offers exposure to a wide range of IT disciplines, with a primary focus on infrastructure support and maintenance. You will be a key player in delivering efficient, reliable IT services, contributing to continuous improvement across the business.

The IT Support Analyst will have technical knowledge, particularly in networks, PCs, and business software (especially Excel), and a strong desire to learn and take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support for all IT infrastructure, systems, hardware, and software.
  • Manage and maintain integrations with third-party platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the organisation.
  • Liaise with external providers to manage services such as servers, telephony, and printing.
  • Collaborate with developers to maintain and enhance our clients' website.
  • Assist with continuous improvement projects, driving efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Ensure effective operation of our clients' ERP system and integrated platforms.
  • Provide support for mobile devices used by the sales team (iPads, Android).
  • Generate and automate business reports using Excel and SQL.
  • Monitor data integrity across systems and ensure reliable daily backups.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience gained in a similar position, providing technical support to users, would be ideal.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are essential.
  • Skilled scripting in VBA, PowerShell, Python or VBScript with an ability to write complex formulas.
  • Experience providing user support across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange is ideal.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fault find technical issues through to resolution.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our client's office in the Halifax area. All successful candidates will be contacted within 5 days of application.
