CNC Machinist Offering Circa. £35,000 – £40,000 Basic Salary plus Great Benefits! Our client is currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join their state-of-the-art production facility near Ripon. The successful candidate will operate two Doosan Puma 2600SY, a Doosan Mill, a Fanuc Mill and a Robot. The CNC Machinist will work with a variety of materials, mainly brass, and aluminium with some stainless steel, to produce a variety of high-performance parts. CNC Machinist – Key Responsibilties * Programming, setting and operating CNC Milling & Turning Machines. * Reading and interpreting from engineering drawings to enable programming, setting and manufacture to achieve a right first-time product. * Creating layout sheets to document tooling, tools, set ups and machine parameters to achieve repeatable results by self or others. * Ability to work by self to achieve exceptional high standards and deadlines. * Able to qualify and document own work using various measuring equipment. * To continuously improve and provide time / cost saving ideas to Machine Shop Manager / Supervisor wherever possible. * To comply with Quality Assurance industry standards and be fully responsible for the Quality (Conformance and Protection and Identification) of the components * To carry out other duties as reasonably requested including dual or triple machine running. * Initial induction and ongoing training will be provided. CNC Machinist – Candidate * An experienced CNC machinist, comfortable programming, setting and operating machinery with good all-round knowledge/experience. * Ideally, competent in operating 4 & 5 Axis CNC machines, although candidates with 3 Axis experience would be considered, if interested on moving onto 4 & 5 Axis. * Experienced using Fanuc controls essential. * With a focus on both your internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues in the design and assembly teams to create a right-first-time product. The CNC Machinist position is offering Circa. £35,000 – £40,000 basic salary plus great benefits for the successful candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm onsite at our client’s production site near Ripon.
