Global Product Portfolio Lead opportunity for Garden Care products. A newly created global role for an experienced, commercially minded Portfolio Lead to manage a multi-million euro category across the US, UK, Europe and RoW. This role spans both B2B and B2C markets and involves regular US and international travel. Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of garden care and pest control products with 650 employees across 16 sites. With leading brands, innovative products, and a global footprint, they are committed to delivering sustainable solutions that protect public health and work in harmony with nature.
The Role
You will own the global strategy, performance, and development of the garden care product portfolio, including full P&L responsibility. As part of the Group Product & Portfolio Leadership Team, you will set direction for the category, drive innovation, and align commercial, technical and operational teams behind a unified global approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Own global P&L; deliver revenue, margin and growth.
- Define and execute global product and portfolio strategy.
- Lead global product management processes and standards.
- Identify M&A and investment opportunities.
- Drive innovation and lifecycle management.
- Ensure alignment with brand, sustainability and customer strategies.
Your Experience
- Significant global/group-level product, category or portfolio leadership.
- Proven P&L ownership and commercial delivery.
- Strong commercial, financial and strategic capability.
- Demonstrated experience in investment and capital allocation decision-making.
- Experience leading cross-functional, cross-regional teams.
- Skilled in influencing, decision-making and stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of product lifecycle and market-led innovation.
Desirable
- Experience in pest control, FMCG, garden care or related technical sectors.
- Familiarity with product development processes.
- Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or product development functions.
- Knowledge of sustainability and product stewardship principles.
- Additional European or US market experience or languages.
