Trainee STEM Lecturer required in Chatham, Kent. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and dynamic team delivering training at a unique training facility with MKC Training. We are seeking to appoint an Early Careers / Career Change Trainee Lecturer across STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects.
You will spend the first year in different departments, developing associated knowledge before focusing on the subject area of your choice. The successful applicant will develop skills within a modern learning environment, making full use of the technologies and methods available. Working with small class sizes of motivated students, there is plenty of opportunity to develop into a Lecturer within various STEM fields delivered including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computing, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Project Management, Contract Management, Health and Safety.
The initial focus will be to support the teaching and assessment of engineering principles and laboratories, including the corresponding mathematical techniques, up to foundation degree level. This will also include supporting the teaching and assessment of trade level engineering principles, electronics and computing to specific trades within the school, such as electricians, refrigeration engineers and fitters.
