Unique opportunity for a site Maintenance Electrician to join a prestigious training facility in Chatham, Kent. £36K rising to £37K after probation excellent benefits, training and career prospects. 37 hours per week (Monday Friday), permanent. Benefits include: Six weeks paid holiday (plus bank holidays) Generous contributory pension Funding for continuous professional development and personal growth Mental Health and Wellbeing support Private healthcare Cycle to work scheme On-site gym The Maintenance Electrician will work on inspection, testing and repair of electrical machinery and equipment used within the technical trade workshops, offices and classrooms and carry out installation works in support of the training requirements. The Maintenance Electrician requires relevant qualifications such as C&G, NVQ, 18 TH Edition IET Regulations and will work on a variety of equipment to include: AC/DC motor and generators Maintenance and operation of LV switchgear Control gear and equipment Electric portable tools Welding machines Workshop wiring and distribution systems Fault finding on controls and equipment.
