From their base in Folkestone, they manufacture specialist test equipment used by customers across the UK and internationally in industries including construction, marine, offshore and engineering. We're looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Administrator to join their team. This could suit someone at the start of their career, or someone with customer service, administration or sales support experience who wants to move into sales. Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude – confident, organised, keen to learn and comfortable speaking with customers. Salary - £23K (depending on age) - £28K + c£5K bonus What you'll be doing: You'll work closely with the sales team and gradually learn all aspects of the sales process, including: Responding to customer and distributor enquiries Preparing quotations and processing orders Speaking with customers in the UK and overseas Following up enquiries and sales opportunities Learning about our products, customers and markets Keeping customer and CRM information up to date Supporting marketing campaigns and trade shows Working with production and other departments to ensure orders run smoothly What we're looking for - You don't need years of sales experience. We're more interested in your potential and desire to build a career. You'll ideally be: Confident communicating by phone and email Friendly, professional and customer focused Organised with good attention to detail Comfortable with numbers and Microsoft Office Keen to learn about sales, marketing and technical products Ambitious and interested in progressing your career Previous customer service, administration or sales experience would be useful but isn't essential. Experience within engineering or manufacturing would also be an advantage. They will provide training in products, customers and sales processes, with the opportunity to gradually take responsibility for customers and distributors, attend customer visits and trade shows and undertake sales training. The aim is to develop the successful person into an External Sales role as they gain experience and the business continues to grow. You'll be joining a small, friendly business where people are encouraged to take responsibility, get involved and develop. A full UK driving licence would be advantageous and will be required as you progress towards an External Sales position.
