The Manufacturing Electronics Engineer will work as part of an engineering team to ensure effective production across the factory floor. Taking responsibility for new projects and product introductions within production. Working with other Engineers and Technicians, and reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, responsibilities will include:
- Implement new processes on the factory floor.
- Support technicians with fault diagnosis and repair of production equipment.
- Introduce LEAN improvements within production to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Perform calibration tasks on production equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Training production staff on new or updated processes or equipment.
- Assist with shopfloor layout change activities and new equipment installations.
- Create programmes for production equipment.
- Research and install new production equipment.
- Perform takt time analysis of cells to set and improve KPIs across production.
- Design and install new production cells.
- Run pre-production activities.
Manufacturing Electronics Engineer requirements:
- Degree level qualification in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- Experience within engineering / production environment.
- Experience in PCBA manufacture, design and testing.
- Solid foundation in electronics down to the component level.
- CAD software (SolidWorks)
- Test software (LabView)
