Job Description CNC Machinists required in South Leicester. EDM machines - training provided. \n 3 x shifts (no weekends), days whilst training. 37 hours per week £19 per hour inc shift allowance, Bonus, Overtime available. \n We have recruited for this growing Manufacturer of components for the aerospace and power generation industries for over 20 years. They have a very professional reputation offering great working conditions and future prospects. \n CNC Machinist role: \n To operate CNC Machines in line with workload requirements, ensuring that all parts are machined to meet customer requirements and strict quality standards. \n Requirements for CNC Machinist: \n \n Previous experience in CNC milling or grinding / EDM operations. \n Experience within an Aerospace sector is advantageous. \n Ability to read engineering drawings \n Able to self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment \n Experience of using machinery is advantageous. \n \n CNC Machinist Responsibilities: \n · Ensuring that parts are machined in accordance with the agreed method specification \n · Attain machine setting skills to enable machine set ups in line with Company requirements. \n · Understanding of engineering drawings, ensuring that fixtures are correctly aligned \n · Inspecting parts in line with quality procedures and taking any necessary, approved, action to resolve quality issues \n · Operating CMM machines to support inspection requirement \n · Consistently achieving all targets (production, quality, housekeeping etc), as set by the Cell Manager \n · Adherence to all company policy's and procedures, including SOX, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety \n Hours \n 37-hours per week - 3 shift pattern (morning, afternoon and night rotation) \n Morning Hours \n 05:45 - 13:45 Monday - Thursday \n 05:45 - 10:45 Friday \n Afternoon Hours \n 13:45 - 21:45 Monday - Thursday \n 10:45 - 15:45 Friday \n Night Hours \n 21:45 - 05:45 Monday - Thursday \n 15:45 - 20:45 Friday \n Holidays \n 26 days floating + 7 statutory days \n Overtime \n Overtime available and paid in line with agreed rates \n Please note: This company cannot support sponsorship at this time.
