CNC Machinists (Grinders and EDM Operators) required for Weekend Night Shift 17:45 - 05:45 (Fri-Sun) to join a well-established, growing manufacturer supplying high-precision components to the aerospace and power generation industries. - £21.26 per hour (including shift allowance)
- ~36 hours - Weekends only

You’ll operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality, precision components, ensuring all work meets strict quality and customer standards:
- Operating CNC 3-axis, 5-axis and 7-axis Grinding Machines, ensuring that parts are machined in accordance with the agreed method specification.
- Attain machine setting skills to enable machine set ups in line with Company requirements.
- Inspecting parts in line with quality procedures and taking any necessary, approved action to resolve quality issues.
- Operating CMM machines to support inspection requirements.
- Consistently achieving all targets (production, quality, housekeeping etc.), as set by the Cell Manager.
- Working in full compliance with quality, safety and company procedures.
Requirements for the position of the CNC Operator:
- Demonstrated experience in CNC machining and/or a strong academic background in engineering, ideally supported by a recognised machining apprenticeship.
- Proficient in conducting self-inspection of machined components using manual measurement tools.
- Previous experience in CNC Grinding or EDM is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience within an Aerospace sector is advantageous.
- Experience with CNC programme editing or basic G code adjustments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
