Electrical Theory Trainer

Experienced Electrical Engineer/Electrician with a passion for theory, science and maths is needed for a teaching role in a disciplined, professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Teach electrical theory, maths and science to levels 3 and 4.
  • Support trainees and apprentices in developing practical skills.
  • Assist in delivering plans and curricula to meet training standards.

Qualifications

  • HNC or above in Electrical Engineering with strong theoretical knowledge.
  • Capable of teaching electrical theory, maths and science to levels 3 and 4.
  • Previous teaching experience or having trained others in the workplace (willingness to attain funded teaching qualifications).
  • Additional Desirable Experience
  • Domestic and Commercial electrical installations – Single and 3‑phase
  • 1st Fix, conduit, tray work, single core, multi core inspection, testing and commissioning
  • Power production and distribution
  • C&G 236 Pt 1&2 / 2330 / 2365 / 2357 / 2391 / 2396
  • A1 Assessor
  • V1 Quality Assurance
