Lubrication Technician opportunity based at a large manufacturing site near Maidstone, Kent. Monday to Friday days role, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week). Offering a competitive salary plus excellent benefits. This site is part of a well-established industrial operation with a strong focus on reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
The Lubrication Technician will be responsible for ensuring all machinery and equipment are correctly lubricated and maintained, supporting optimal performance and minimising downtime across the site. It will be expected of the individual to monitor equipment condition, identify potential issues, and report anomalies to supervisors and the engineering team. Working alongside the maintenance team, the successful candidate will carry out lubrication activities in line with best practice and support general engineering functions where required.
- Carry out routine lubrication of plant and machinery in line with schedules
- Monitor equipment condition and report faults or irregularities
- Maintain accurate records of lubrication activities and inspections
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures at all times
- Support maintenance and engineering teams with planned and reactive tasks
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across all working areas
- Assist in improving lubrication practices and reliability processes
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as required
Requirements for Lubrication Technician:
- Engineering experience
- Understanding of different lubrication types and applications would be beneficial
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Willingness to learn and develop within a technical environment
