What's on Offer * £32,000–£35,000 * 37.5 hours per week * 2pm finish every Friday * Free on-site parking * Free tea and coffee * Pension * Healthcare after 1 years’ service * Study support for professional qualifications * Excellent long-term career prospects The Role You'll have a varied role within the finance function, with responsibility for: * Purchase and Sales Ledger * Bank reconciliations and payment runs * VAT returns and postponed import VAT accounting * Bookkeeping and financial record keeping * Supporting month-end and Management Accounts * Financial reporting and analysis using Excel * Customer and supplier account queries * Credit reviews and new customer checks * Supporting the leadership team with ad hoc finance projects About You We're open to candidates ranging from a Finance Assistant through to an Assistant Accountant looking for their next step. You'll ideally have: * Solid experience within a finance/accounts environment * Good knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations and bookkeeping * Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills * AAT qualified or studying towards AAT (desirable rather than essential) * Good understanding of month-end processes * Excellent attention to detail and organisation * A proactive, commercially minded approach and the confidence to work independently Why Apply?
