Painter & Decorator Trainer in Brompton, Medway

We are seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our collaborative and dynamic team delivering Multi-Trade training at a unique education facility in Chatham, Kent. While your core expertise will be in painting and decorating, knowledge or experience in other finishing trades, such as wall and floor tiling, dry lining, contract flooring, basic plastering, rendering, floor screeds, airless spray painting, and single-pane glazing, would be advantageous, though not essential, as full in-house training can be provided. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality training outcomes, working alongside experienced professionals committed to excellence, with opportunities to further develop your skills and progress your career within a supportive organisation that values growth, quality, and shared success.

Painter and Decorator Trainer Experience:

• Level 3 qualification in painting & decorating / multi-trades.
• Substantial industry experience of painting and decorating.
• Ability to motivate and encourage students, teaching Multi Trade techniques to others (e.g. to apprentices, trainees etc).
• Knowledge and experience of quality assurance and improvement.
• Ability to promote safeguarding and welfare of young people that s/he is responsible for or comes into contact with.

Additional experience to support Multi Trade Trainer application:

• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Applications
• Formal or informal teaching experience
• Knowledge & experience of e-learning and e-assessment tools
• An enthusiastic and committed individual, with strong communication skills, a passion to train others and prepared to extend your own skills and knowledge.
