Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in AutoCAD Electrical to join a growing team delivering impactful projects across sectors such as clean energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and critical infrastructure. This role offers a blend of technical challenge, autonomy, and long-term career opportunity within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems from scratch - including schematics and general arrangements
  • Interpret user requirement specifications into practical, detailed designs
  • Support testing, commissioning, and documentation
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions
  • Take ownership of your designs through the full project lifecycle

What We’re Looking For

  • Advanced experience using AutoCAD Electrical (essential)
  • Experience with low and extra-low voltage systems (ideally 400VAC with motor starters)
  • Ability to design from a blank spec to meet detailed technical requirements
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in cross-functional teams
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with relevant qualifications, or 4+ years’ practical electrical design experience
