The Role Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to completion. The role will involve ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams across Ireland and Europe. Key Responsibilities Manage the successful delivery of projects across Ireland and Europe, ensuring programme, budget, quality and contractual objectives are achieved. Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance are maintained at all times. Plan, coordinate and manage labour resources throughout the project lifecycle to ensure efficient and productive delivery. Lead the procurement of materials, negotiating competitive terms and ensuring materials are available on site in line with project requirements and programme. Coordinate plant, equipment, access requirements and site logistics to support safe and efficient project delivery. Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with contract specifications, approved drawings, programme requirements and relevant standards. Implement and maintain robust quality assurance procedures, including inspections, quality records and snagging processes. Prepare, review and maintain project-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring they remain appropriate throughout the works. Work closely with the Planning team to monitor and maintain project programmes, identify potential delays and communicate progress to clients and senior management. Collaborate with the Design team to develop practical, compliant and commercially viable solutions to design and construction challenges. Attend and lead client, consultant, subcontractor and main contractor meetings, providing clear and accurate updates on project progress, risks and key deliverables. Work closely with the Commercial and Quantity Surveying teams to monitor project costs, understand Bills of Quantities and maximise commercial performance. Monitor labour productivity, preliminaries, plant, materials and overall project expenditure against agreed budgets. Identify, record and communicate variations and additional works at the earliest opportunity to maximise commercial recovery. Manage and coordinate suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Prepare comprehensive weekly project reports covering progress, programme, commercial performance, labour, procurement, key risks and upcoming activities.
