About the Role

We are working with our client, a specialist contractor within the façades, roofing, and cladding sector, who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Liverpool. This is a key delivery role, responsible for managing large-scale envelope projects from pre-start through to completion, with values of up to £12m. You will take ownership of site delivery, programme performance, commercial coordination, and client relationships across multiple live projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering façade or building envelope packages, with a proven ability to manage complex construction programmes and lead site teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from mobilisation through to final handover
  • Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Develop and manage project programmes, tracking progress and mitigating delays
  • Coordinate closely with commercial, design, and procurement teams
  • Chair site meetings and maintain strong client and main contractor relationships
  • Manage risk, variations, and change control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Drive quality control and ensure installation meets required standards and specifications
  • Report project progress and performance to senior management

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within façades, roofing, cladding, or building envelope sectors
  • Strong track record delivering projects up to £12m in value
  • Excellent understanding of aluminium systems, rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, or roofing packages
  • Experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors
  • Strong leadership and site management capabilities
  • Commercial awareness with understanding of budgets, valuations, and project cost control
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold) and First Aid (preferred)
