About the Role
We are working with our client, a specialist contractor within the façades and building envelope sector, who are seeking a Junior Designer to join their growing design team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within cladding and façade design, working on a variety of commercial and industrial projects. You will be supported by experienced designers while gaining exposure to full project lifecycles and industry-leading standards. The role will focus heavily on cladding design work using AutoCAD, supporting the delivery of accurate, coordinated, and buildable design packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed cladding design drawings using AutoCAD
- Support the design development of façade and cladding systems across live projects
- Work closely with senior designers and design managers to develop technical solutions
- Amend and update drawings in line with client, contractor, and site feedback
- Assist with preparation of design packs and technical submissions
- Coordinate design information with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ensure all drawings are produced accurately and in line with project specifications
- Gain exposure to curtain walling and façade detailing as part of development
Key Requirements
- Experience using AutoCAD is essential
