Our client is looking for an experienced Façade Designer to join their growing team, with a strong focus on cladding and rainscreen systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer with proven experience within the façade industry who is looking to join an established business and work on a range of technically interesting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing detailed façade and cladding drawings
- Designing and detailing rainscreen cladding systems
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders
- Reviewing technical information and ensuring designs meet project requirements
- Producing accurate drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting projects from design through to delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience designing cladding / rainscreen systems is essential
- Strong understanding of façade construction and detailing
- Experience using relevant CAD/design software
- Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Experience within the façade, cladding or building envelope sector
