Shifts: Days & Nights available (10-hour shifts)
Rotation: 10 days on, 4 days off
Duration: 8 weeks initially (potential for extension)

Rates:
- Days: £23.45
- Nights: £29.66
- Overtime A: £32.83
- Overtime B: £42.21
- Lodge: £373.73 per week (as per NAECI agreement)
- 80p/hour weekly bonus
- £1.57/hour IBA (paid fortnightly)
Purpose of the Role
To carry out the installation, maintenance, inspection and testing of electrical systems and equipment on an industrial construction project at Saltend Chemicals Park. You will work safely and efficiently to deliver high-quality installations in accordance with project specifications, industry standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Install cable tray, basket, ladder rack, conduit and trunking systems.
- Install, terminate and test power, control and instrumentation cabling.
- Install motors, switchgear, transformers and associated electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and cable schedules.
- Carry out fault finding and testing activities as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and current regulations.
- Comply with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Assist with commissioning and energisation activities where required.
- Support apprentices and junior operatives where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and testing activities.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- ECS/JIB Gold Card.
- Industrial electrical installation experience.
- Ability to work from electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
Desirable Requirements
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
- COMPEX certification.
- Experience within petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, power generation or process industries.
