We are seeking a qualified and experienced Domestic Electrician to join our growing team, operating across the South West of England, based out of Launceston. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality domestic electrical work, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and working safely in occupied residential environments.
This role is available on either a contract which will be a day rate or a permanent position with a salary dependant on experience. You will also be supplied with a company van and fuel card.
- Day rate = £200/day
- Salary = £40,000-£45,000 (Dependant on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out domestic electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works across residential properties.
- Complete testing and inspection in line with current regulations and best practice.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Produce accurate documentation including test certificates and job reports.
- Ensure all works comply with BS7671 and relevant safety standards.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism and customer care.
- Liaise with customers, schedulers and internal teams to ensure works are completed to programme.
- Ensure company vehicle, tools and materials are maintained and used responsibly.
Essential Requirements
- Candidates must hold the following qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong domestic electrical experience
- High standards of safety, organisation and professionalism
Desirable
- Experience working across multiple domestic sites/regions
- Familiarity with working in occupied homes and customer-facing environments
- Experience completing EICRs and remedial works
