Role Overview
Work as a Cladding Designer / Façade Designer delivering technical design packages across cladding, curtain walling, and façade systems from concept through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce AutoCAD 2D cladding drawings (plans, elevations, details, fire barriers)
- Panel layouts, sub-grid setting out, fabrication drawings
- Site surveys, design meetings, and technical coordination
- Liaise with architects, structural engineers, façade consultants, and suppliers
- Manage RFIs, drawing registers, and technical submissions
Requirements
Experience: 3-5+ years UK cladding / façade design experience
Software: AutoCAD 2D (essential), Revit / SketchUp / Bluebeam (desirable)
Technical Knowledge: Cladding systems, curtain walling, insulation, fixings, fire barriers, façade details, fabrication drawings, U-values, condensation risk analysis
Other: UK-based, right to work, commutable to London, driving licence preferred
