Our client is seeking 4 x industrial pipefitters with CSCS card to join a project in Dalry working with PTFE pipework.
Location: Dalry, Scotland (near Glasgow)
Project: Industrial project
Duration: Approx. 6 months (potential to extend based on performance and scope)
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Install and bolt-up PTFE-lined carbon steel pipework (prefabricated sections – no welding or grinding required)
- Fit pipe supports and ensure correct alignment to engineering drawings
- Work collaboratively with platers, mechanical fitters, and other site personnel
- Maintain high standards of safety and quality in line with NAECI agreement requirements
- Complete timesheets accurately and liaise with site supervisors for approvals
Essential Requirements:
- CSCS Card (valid and in date)
- Proven experience in pipefitting within industrial or construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of NAECI rates and Blue Book practices (advantageous)
- Willingness to work PAYE under NAECI agreement terms
- Good attendance record and reliability
Working Pattern & Hours:
- 11-day fortnight
- Monday-Thursday: 11.5 hours/day
- Friday-Sunday: 8 hours/day
- Overtime available at NAECI rates
- Bonus for completing full 11-day rotation without absence
This is a blue book NAECI project where grade 5 rates apply. PAYE only.
Rates:
- STD – £22.44ph – First 37.5 hours Monday-Friday
- OT1 – £31.42ph – Over 37.5 hours Monday-Friday and first 4 hours Saturday
- OT2 – £40.39ph – Over 4 hours Saturday and all hours Sunday
- Lodge – £50.81 per day
