If you are an experienced EC&I Senior Engineer looking to lead projects, influence best practice, and contribute to innovative compliance solutions, this role offers an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that values expertise and career progression.
Our EC&I Senior Engineers play a key role in delivering compliance engineering activities, supporting site-based inspection and testing teams, and working closely with management to drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and engineering solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering and design activities, including:
- Hazardous and non-hazardous area equipment specification
- Intrinsically Safe (I.S) safety calculations (DSD)
- Loop drawings, fault level studies, and calculations
- Inspection and testing procedures and documentation
- Report generation and critical reviews
- Single line diagrams and electrical schedules
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum HNC in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status or working towards it (preferred).
- Previous experience with UK industrial sites.
- Familiarity with DSEAR and ATEX standards; CompEX 12 qualification desirable.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety Systems (BSEN 61508 & BSEN 61511).
- BS7671 18th Edition trained.
