Responsibilities
- Designing and deploying robust EC&I systems aligned with ATEX, DSEAR and intrinsic safety standards
- Integrating your EC&I designs into wider sustainability and engineering projects
- Tackling complex instrumentation and controls challenges using a blend of experience, judgement and innovation
- Preparing project scopes, cost estimates and timelines for new engineering work
- Staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry best practice
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and growing talent around you
Requirements
- HNC or higher in Electrical/Controls Engineering (or related discipline)
- 5+ years’ experience in EC&I design—especially within ATEX/hazardous environments
- Strong working knowledge of control systems, schematics, and safety regulations
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and a proven problem-solver
