Part of a major international group, this modern manufacturing facility is recruiting an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead a team maintaining all plant assets and site services in a world class production environment.
Salary to £55-65000
Location: West Midlands (commutable from Wolverhampton, Telford, Walsall, Lichfield, Tamworth, Stafford, North Birmingham areas)
Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for maximising the operating efficiency of the production plant, equipment & site facilities, managing your team to ensure breakdown and planned maintenance is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties:
- Lead and mentor a multiskilled maintenance engineering team working over a three shift pattern
- Ensure regulatory and legislation compliance for HSE, COSHH, RAMS, Environmental, PUWER etc
- Prioritising preventative and corrective maintenance work orders within the CMMS.
- Manage and control maintenance engineering resources available in order to achieve required OEE levels, regulatory plant and equipment safety standards.
- Manage, coach and mentor your team
- Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant.
Requirements:
- Applications are sought from experienced Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Managers who are keen to progress their career in a large highly automated manufacturing facility and work for a world class engineering and manufacturing organisation.
- Time served mechanical or electrical apprentice, IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
- Proven ability to manage, lead, upskill and coach a technical team
- Set departmental objectives/ KPIs and review to drive continued performance
- Experienced and in-depth knowledge of planned maintenance, TPM, RCM and CMMS system
- Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic maintenance
- Experience of plastic injection moulding machinery, assembly lines, PLC controls and robotic automation
