HR Advisor - Manufacturing 9β12 Month FTC West Midlands with regular travel to other sites Up to c. Β£35,000 Car Allowance Global Manufacturing Organisation
Iβm currently supporting a global manufacturing leader in the search for an experienced HR Advisor to join their UK manufacturing operations on a maternity cover contract. This is not a holding role; you will be a visible, hands-on HR partner supporting operational leaders across multiple manufacturing sites within a fast-paced, union and non-union environment.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with site leadership teams, providing pragmatic and commercially focused HR support while partnering with a highly collaborative and people-centric HR function.
Key Responsibilities
- First-line HR support across operational and commercial teams
- Managing your sites ER casework including absence, disciplinaries, grievances and performance
- Coaching and developing line managers
- Supporting both shop-floor and office-based populations
- Using HR data and insights to support decision making
- Acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring employment law best practice
About You
- 2β5 yearsβ operational HR experience (manufacturing or similar environment preferred)
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
- Strong ER and employment law knowledge
- Confident working with operational leaders and stakeholders
- Resilient, pragmatic and relationship-driven
- Comfortable working autonomously and across multiple sites
