Location: Knottingley – Hybrid – (3days per week in a local office)

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a busy, varied role in a global organisation?
We’re seeking a Senior HR Advisor to provide advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, working with managers and employees across multiple business divisions.
This is a high-volume, hands on role where you’ll handle day-to-day HR queries, manage documentation, and act as a key link between HR, managers, and employees.
It’s a great opportunity to step into a visible and impactful role, with clear progression routes into HR BP and Management roles.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing HR advice to managers on absence, performance, capability, and employee relations cases.
- Preparing contracts, amendments, and HR documentation, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.
- Supporting recruitment administration, onboarding, and right-to-work checks.
- Coordinating training, performance reviews, and talent cycle activities.
- Managing HR systems and dashboards to maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for managers, escalating complex ER cases if and when needed.
- Identifying process improvements and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5 years’ HR experience in an advisory, ER, or generalist role.
- Background in a large corporate or multinational / multi site environment
- Previous experience working in a High Volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes.
- Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with stakeholders up to Director level.
- Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable managing a high caseload.
- Proficient with HRIS (e.g. Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, iTrent) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.
- Driving licence required – must be mobile for occasional site travel.
