Role: Regional Maintenance Manager (South)

A majorly backed Energy Solutions based business with a strong presence across the entire UK is looking for an Regional Maintenance Manager to cover & co‑ordinate Maintenance, PPM & oversee CAPEX responsibilities across their portfolio of sites in the South of England.

Salary

Up to £50k + bonus + company car/allowance + benefits

Location

South of England (access to roads, trains, airports)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic plans for assigned business areas incorporating business objectives and strategies.
  • Develop standards, specifications and application for the business unit assets including maintenance strategy and investment scope.
  • Review and understand inspection, maintenance and engineering reports, identify remedial works and effectively plan and track required works through to completion.
  • Assist in the development of capital expenditure plans for fuel depots and terminals.
  • Manage engineering contractor management throughout the business unit, review RAMS and ensure works are planned specific to site.
  • Ensure preventative planned maintenance task schedules are appropriately set for respective sites, maintaining regulatory and legislative compliance at all times.
  • Manage contractor interface with operations within the business unit.
  • Align with Senior/Regional operations teams day to day to support and manage engineering within the function.
  • Review engineering HSE performance within assigned business units and provide feedback on improvements.

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant engineering qualification within either a specific discipline.
  • Ability to develop standards and specifications against legislation and industry best practices.
  • Experience of overseeing and interacting with contractors.
  • Experience in assessing/appoving RAMS.
  • Experience of engineering management – ideally across a group or a number of sites.
  • Ideally placed in the South of England (positioned to cover UK).
  • Strong communication skills and building relationships internally & externally.
  • Ideally worked in regulated environments (Fuel, Petroleum, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Hazardous waste).
  • Autonomy to manage diary.
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regs.
