Part of a major international engineering group, this organisation is embarking on a significant transformation programme and is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to join the senior management team to lead the successful delivery of customer programmes across a variety of industry sectors.

Salary: c£80000 + car allowance + benefits

Location: Milton Keynes

Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading a team delivering high value customer programmes:

  • Transform a technical and project management team into a high performance operation
  • Deliver portfolio of customer programmes from contract award through design, manufacture and on site installation
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction
  • As a member of the senior management team, you will be involved in strategic direction and establishing robust governance, effective resource planning and best practice programme management methodologies to support operational excellence and sustainable business growth
  • Ensuring all CDM management, risk assessments and methods statements are adhered to
  • Active management of and engagement with internal and external stakeholders

Experience:

  • You will already have significant experience in a Senior Programme Manager or Project Manager capacity with expertise in engineering, manufacturing, contractor management and site co-ordination
  • Proven track record of delivering high value complex customer capital expenditure projects within time and budget
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams delivering high value turnkey projects
  • Analytical with good judgement, commercial business sense and problem solving skills
  • Relationship builder with good communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Structured worker with good time management and project management ability
