My client is seeking an experienced Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the retail, industrial, logistics, office, and education sectors. You’ll take a lead role in developing and coordinating detailed construction packages, overseeing projects through to site delivery, and ensuring quality at every stage. This is a client-facing role where strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills are essential. What you’ll do Lead commercial projects from early concept through to completion (RIBA Work Stages 1–6). Produce and coordinate planning, tender, and construction information packages. Work directly with clients, consultants, and project teams, both in-office and on-site. Manage project deadlines, lead meetings, and ensure smooth delivery of information. Apply in-depth knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes. Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop to develop high-quality outputs. Mentor and support colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team culture. Represent the practice at industry events and client meetings. What they’re looking for RIBA Part 3 / ARB qualified Architect, or MCIAT Technologist. Minimum 8+ years post-qualification experience delivering complex commercial projects. Proven track record in commercial architecture (retail, industrial, logistics, office, education). Strong technical design expertise and understanding of building regulations. Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Experience managing projects independently as well as working within a team.
