The Reality of the Role
This isn't a hands-on facilities job; it is a position of commercial oversight and governance. You will act as the crucial link between the investors who funded the infrastructure, the public sector client operating within it, and the third-party facilities team tasked with maintaining it. Your core focus will be holding those service providers accountable. You will monitor their performance against complex service agreements, ensure strict health and safety compliance, manage the financial and operational reporting, and ultimately protect the asset's value by mitigating risks and preventing contractual penalties.
