We are partnering with a leading Tier-1 Infrastructure & Asset Management provider that oversees a multi-billion-pound portfolio of public-private partnership (PFI/PPP) assets across the UK.
They are seeking an SPC Manager to join their operational asset management team, taking full commercial and operational ownership of a portfolio of public sector PFI project companies.
This home-based position acts as the primary commercial and contractual bridge between project lenders, investors, third-party FM contractors, and senior public sector client stakeholders.
It offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced PFI, contract, or estates leader to take full board-level and operational control of high-value infrastructure assets on the investor/client side.
The Opportunity & Role
Managing PFI project companies in their operational phase requires strong commercial governance, risk management, and stakeholder diplomacy.
Overseeing multiple assets, you will act as the named SPC Representative under Project Agreements (PA) and FM Agreements (FMA) to protect investor returns and deliver service excellence.
- Contract Governance: Act as the official SPC Representative on all matters affecting policy, strategy, performance, and compliance under the PA and FMA.
- Performance & Deduction
Control: Monitor third-party Hard and Soft FM service providers to drive operational quality, ensure statutory compliance, and eliminate performance and availability deductions.
- Commercial & Financial
Leadership: Manage project budgets, oversee commercial income generation, administer contract variations, and support financial reporting and statutory accounts for the SPV Board.
- Audit & Risk Assurance: Implement Health & Safety monitoring regimes, manage quality assurance programs, and lead Project Compliance Reviews across operating sites.
- Senior Stakeholder Interface: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior public sector client representatives, project lenders, investors, and supply chain directors.
