We\’re partnered with a highly respected independent Construction Consultancy with a 15-year track record of delivering professional commercial solutions and advice on mixed-use developments across Cambridgeshire. Their success is built on strong client relationships and a high level of repeat business.

They\’re currently expanding their talented pool of Quantity Surveying and Cost Management Consultants and are seeking experienced professionals to join them on typically 3-month contracts, engaged via a Limited or Umbrella Company.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse and exciting mixed-use development projects, resolving complex commercial issues in a professional and cost-effective manner.

What you\’ll be doing:

Your role will encompass a blend of pre-construction and post-construction duties, including:

  • Providing expert advice on procurement routes and contract selection.
  • Assisting with the appointment of consultants and compilation of tender lists.
    Conducting project feasibility studies.
    Developing effective bid and tender strategies.
    Reviewing and negotiating critical contractual documents.
    Evaluating project risks and developing robust mitigation strategies.
    Commercially analysing bids and tender returns.
    Advising on main and sub-contract formation and appointment.
    Undertaking comprehensive contract administration.
    Setting commercial strategies and leading teams to achieve challenging commercial goals.
