We\’re partnered with a highly respected independent Construction Consultancy with a 15-year track record of delivering professional commercial solutions and advice on mixed-use developments across Cambridgeshire. Their success is built on strong client relationships and a high level of repeat business. They\’re currently expanding their talented pool of Quantity Surveying and Cost Management Consultants and are seeking experienced professionals to join them on typically 3-month contracts, engaged via a Limited or Umbrella Company. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse and exciting mixed-use development projects, resolving complex commercial issues in a professional and cost-effective manner. What you\’ll be doing: Your role will encompass a blend of pre-construction and post-construction duties, including: * Providing expert advice on procurement routes and contract selection. * Assisting with the appointment of consultants and compilation of tender lists. * Conducting project feasibility studies. * Developing effective bid and tender strategies. * Reviewing and negotiating critical contractual documents. * Evaluating project risks and developing robust mitigation strategies. * Commercially analysing bids and tender returns. * Advising on main and sub-contract formation and appointment. * Undertaking comprehensive contract administration. * Setting commercial strategies and leading teams to achieve challenging commercial goals. * Identifying project risks and opportunities, developing proactive management strategies.
